On our Way

Hello all,

Kaylee and I have labored for days in preparations for our travels.  We have spent a small fortune on the necessities we will be using for our four months abroad, and today we crammed it all into our suitcases (the results were spectacular, albeit heavy).  We leave for the airport soon, ready to catch our flight for New York City at 11:55.  After an overnight flight (and hopefully some decent sleep, which is doubtful because I am not aware of any changes to airplane seating design) we will land at 8:00am at JFK.  We plan on meeting my uncle Dan, who lives in Brooklyn, while we are there for a nine-hour layover.  Finally, at 4:55pm, we embark on another flight from JFK to Accra, Ghana, arriving at 8:00am local time.  This is going to be quite a journey, and your thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.  Expect to hear from us as soon as we get settled on our new continent!

We love you all,

The Freemans
